Gesine Weber

Gesine Weber is a Research Fellow at the Paris office of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMFUS), where she works on European defence, the EU-US-China triangle and Europe as a geopolitical actor.  She was previously a Fulbright-Schuman Visiting Scholar at the Arnold A. Saltzman Institute for War and Peace Studies at Columbia University, a defence policy advisor at the German parliament and a consultant at the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation in Shanghai. She is also pursuing a PhD on European defence at King’s College London.
