Natalia Martín

Head of Partnerships and Activities
Pleinlaan 5, 1050, Brussel, Belgium

Natalia Martín is responsible for the strategic development and coordination of CSDS’s partnerships and private-public events in Brussels and around the world. Notably, she coordinates the CSDS flagship annual conference, the Brussels Indo-Pacific Dialogue: the only Brussels based platform bringing together high-level experts and policymakers from the Indo-Pacific and the transatlantic space to the European capital. In her role she fosters cross-functional collaboration among CSDS research, communication and project teams harmonising CSDS outreach efforts towards partners and the general public.

Natalia also holds a position at the Elcano Royal Institute Brussels’s office where she manages EU and NATO funded projects. Most notably, she coordinated the NATO Public Forum of the 2022 Madrid Summit. In this capacity, she ensured cross-collaboration with NATO, Spanish authorities and consortium partners (German Marshall Fund of the US, the Atlantic Council and the Munich Security Conference).

Moreover, Natalia has previously worked at the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) in Paris, where she monitored regional security cooperation initiatives between the EU and ASEAN. Prior to that, she held professional stays at the European External Action Service (EEAS) (Asia-Pacific Division) and at the Paris-based think tank, the Jacques Delors Institute. She is a graduate from the College of Europe (Bruges) and from the Diplomatic School of Spain.
