Mia Andjelic is a Project Officer at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS), holding an MA in Global Security and Strategy with honours from Vesalius College and a Postgraduate in Global Risk Analysis and Crisis Management from the Brussels School of Governance (BSoG). Initially, Mia contributed as a Research and Project Assistant at CSDS. In these capacities, she was involved in research, project management and event planning efforts, contributing to public diplomacy initiatives and covering areas such as governance, semiconductor production and supply chain and EU member states’ views on Taiwan within the context of US-China competition. In 2024, she volunteered for the German Marshall Fund’s flagship Brussels Forum, meanwhile serving as General Chairperson and Editor for a project on the state of transatlantic relations at the BSoG. Before moving to Brussels, Mia gained experience through traineeships at the Presidential Secretariat and Civil Section of the Court of Appeal of Florence.
