Yan Cavalluzzi

Yan Cavalluzzi is a Security and Defence Analyst currently working for NCT Consultants in Leiden, The Netherlands, where he engages with military officials and private sector leaders at international defence events in the field of CBRN. Additionally, he collaborates as an Editorial Associate for Canale Energia, providing in-depth geopolitical analysis on energy security. Cavalluzzi holds an MA in Intelligence and International Security from King’s College London and another MA in International Relations with a specialisation in security from LUISS Guido Carli University. 

His experiences include an internship as a Political Advisor for the Italian Navy during the Mare Aperto 2022 exercise, where he worked alongside senior naval officers aboard the aircraft carrier Cavour, producing strategic reports and assessments for the high command. He also completed an internship in international affairs journalism with BizGees, focusing on post-conflict reconstruction in Libya.
