Nika Kratsashvili

Nika Kratsashvili is a PhD candidate at Leiden University pursuing secondment at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His PhD research topic is EU Enlargement in an Era of Great Power Competition.
Nika holds MA degrees in Policies and Governance in Europe from Luiss Guido Carli, Italy and in European Studies from Tbilisi State University (TSU), Georgia, and BA in International Relations from TSU. Nika’s professional and research interests range from diplomacy and EU foreign policy to the enlargement in Eastern Partnership and Euro-Atlantic security.
