Lotje Boswinkel

Lotje Boswinkel is a PhD researcher at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS), a non-resident associate fellow at NATO Defense College, and a Hans J Morgenthau fellow at the Notre Dame International Security Center. Her research focuses on deterrence and US alliances in Europe and the Indo-Pacific.

Lotje has published with Survival and International Affairs, and written various in-depth reports and policy briefs for think tanks and government institutions. Prior to joining CSDS, Lotje worked as a strategic analyst at The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies. She holds a Master’s degree in International Security from the Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po).
