Mia Andjelic

Mia Andjelic, originally from Serbia and raised in Italy, is an intern at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Global Security and Strategy. Her MA thesis project has investigated the EU’s energy security in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, using the lens of securitisation theory. In addition to her current studies, Mia holds a BA in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Florence and is cultivating research interests in transatlantic relations, international security, and European defence.
