Official Visit: Tsai Ing-wen

On 18 October 2024, the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS) welcomed former Taiwan President, Tsai Ing-wen, during her trip to Brussels. The meeting led to a discussion about security in the Indo-Pacific and Europe. Tsai Ing-wen met with Brussels School of Governance President Karel de Gucht and core members of CSDS engaged President Tsai in a wide-ranging discussion, which included select members of the Brussels policy and academic community.
