Giacomo Leccese

Giacomo Leccese holds a Master degree in International Relations from LUISS Guido Carli in Rome and a second-level professional Master programme in “Intelligence and Emerging Technologies” from the Centre for High Defence Studies (CASD) of the Italian Ministry of Defence and the University of Udine. Over the past years, he has completed internships at the Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Training Centre of the Italian Defence Staff, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Permanent Mission of Italy to the UN in New York. He also participated as Political Advisor for the Italian Navy at “Mare Aperto 2021”, one of the largest naval exercises held in the Mediterranean involving several European and international navies. Interested in strategic studies, he is currently analysing the relationship between emerging technologies and naval warfare, with a focus on the underwater domain.
