Lt. Gen. (Ret) Frederick Benjamin Hodges is Pershing Chair in Strategic Studies at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) in Washington, DC. He was Commanding General, United States Army Europe from 2014 to 2017. He co-authored together with John. R. Allen and Julian Lindley-French – The Future of War and The Defense of Europe, published by Oxford University Press in 2020.
