Leonard Collomb

Leonard Collomb is an intern at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS). A recent graduate in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Utrecht University, he wrote his Bachelor’s thesis on the politics of ethnic minority representation within Chinese nationalism. He also completed an exchange at the National Taiwan University, where he focused on East Asian geopolitics, cross-straight relations and Chinese political reform. Leonard is fluent in English, French and has working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. Currently, Leonard seeks to deepen his understanding of EU engagement in the Indo-Pacific, with a particular focus on Chinese foreign policy and the pursuit of European strategic autonomy.
