Mark McQuay

Mark McQuay is a doctoral candidate at Jagiellonian University, where his research focuses on state-building in challenging and fragile environments. He brings experience from both academic and policy-oriented institutions, having served as a Senior Eisenhower Defense Fellow at the NATO Defense College, a Junior Fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) and a trainee at the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS). His research interests span strategic foresight, organised crime, post-conflict state-building and the Western Balkans. He holds an MA in International Relations from Collegium Civitas in Warsaw.
