BSoG researchers Nathalie Van Raemdonck and Daniel Fiott give briefing on EU-NATO cooperation on hybrid threats

Nathalie Van Raemdonck of the Centre for Digitalisation, Democracy and Innovation and Daniel Fiott, guest professor at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy of the BSoG, gave a briefing to the Council of the EU Working Party on Enhancing Resilience and Countering Hybrid Threats on 24 February 2021. The session was organised by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU with the support of the EU Institute for Security Studies. Nathalie Van Raemdonck discussed the various forms of disinformation and how they have evolved during the pandemic, while Daniel Fiott spoke about resilience and critical infrastructure protection. Both Nathalie and Daniel offered audience members a number of practical avenues for further EU-NATO cooperation in the area of resilience and countering hybrid threats.
